Very cute! Many similarities to the orginal movie yet many differences, too.

I watched it today and I liked it very much ! Yup some differences but many things were the same as in the book

I think Tim Burton directed this movie pretty cleverly, introducing modernity pretty well.

The songs were very funny with some rock'n roll, pop music and disco lolol

The casting was very well done too, the kids and the parents were just so hilarious and their looking fit well the characters.

I'm a huge fan of Roald Dahl and I enjoyed the movie very much as Burton kept the spirit of the story (except from the cowboy Mike Teavee).

But most of my friends find that it was a very special and strange (it's Tim Burton's anyway lol).

what about johnny depp ?
