Japanimation!!

Post by mb_rockstar »

anyone here into japanimation?

my current favorites are:

- naruto
- inuyusha
- love hina
- chobits
- full metal alchemist
- ping pong

hmm...there's more but i forget.

i'm currently watching naruto. very addicting. it has comedy, romance, and action. i totally recommend seeing this one, you won't be disappointed.

what is it about? it's about this young boy who is seeking to become the greatest ninja ever. he has a little problem though. he has this nine tail monster sealed inside of him that's keeping him from using his magic to it's full potential. also, ninja's are suppose to be clever, fast, and quiet. he on the other hand is the total opposite. his sensei calls him the ninja that's full of surprises. anyhow, i don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. :)

if anyone wants information on where to d/l it or whatever you can go here;

Not all Tenchi episodes are good. I suggest you check out Tenchi's first movie, Tenchi Muyo in Love.

I heard that Cowboy Bebop is good too.

Oh yeah, another favorite of mine: Samurai X: Rurouni Kenshin (Vol. 1, 2)

Samurai X: The Movie was alright.

Cowboy Bebop is really great ! I like Wolf's Rain very much too. Naruto is really funny and captiviting !

I recommend you Planetes too, but the manga is better than the anime.

Hikaru No Go is very good too, I was like hypnotised and I was longing for the following episode every week lol

It also depends on what kind of anime you like :)

I also recomand Samourai Champloo, it 's very good. It's the same author as cowboy beebop.

Monster is also a good manga, i don't know the anime as i haven't watched it. When i read the manga i don't like to watch the anime, i dont know why, hehe. Excepted for City Hunter, i saw the anime first at tv then i read the manga and the manga was more complete that the anime. Actuallt i'm reading Angel Heart, a sort of continuation of ciy hunter.

I also like Kyo, sort of Rurouni Kenshin. With romance, action, for you mb hehe

Whatelse, we read a lot of manga at home with nniicky (my younger sister).

Hi all !

I have to recommand you a very good anime base from the manga Yakitate Japan !

It deals with making bread and it is very funny and captivating ! A young boy wants to bake the perfect bread that would represent Japan, the N?1 of Japanese breads.

For example everywhere in the world you have a bread named from the country, we can talk about French bread, German bread etc but there is no Japanese bread. So the young boy is trying to bake the perfect Japan bread and there are many competitions and so on.

It is very very funny and surprising ! And it really makes you want to eat bread ! kekeke Yummy !!!

Hi MB,

I went to a Japanese Expo in Anaheim this past July. I went with a little boy who is totally into anime. It was so fun to watch him. I could tell that my young "date" was having a blast even though I don't know the first thing about anime. :)

I have promised him that I will go with him again next July. It's funny because he has begged me to go again with him and this time he wants us to dress up as anime characters. I have no clue who to dress up as but I will do my best not to disappoint him. I'll have to explore this further later on. Any suggestions as to who I could dress up as would be most welcome. :)
