hey, I can give it a try on some of them... i'm not very good though, but while you wait for better translations, you might be able to use some of these. the ones with (?) are kinda questionable.

hey michael, i'm doing pretty well. thanks for asking. yea, i've actually been visiting this site for a while now. maybe since 2000? when the discussion forum was still old school style. mostly, i like to read the reviews and news updates.

i started listening to chinese music in 1998. i'm a fan of edmond leung and sammi and miriam. but i listen to pretty much everybody.

Thank YOU for visiting HKSS for so long. It makes me happy knowing that people enjoy the community that has been existing here (although the numbers sharply dwindled after the 1-year shutdown (due to lack of funding) of the site back in 2000 or 20001, I forgot.)

I started listening to Chinese music in hmm... late 1995, early 1996, and have been ever more recently with Elva Hsiao, eVonne Hsu, Joey Yung, Jolin Tsai, Jasmine Leong, 12 Girls Band, Kelly Chan, Sammi Cheng, recently S.H.E., and a bunch of other people.

I realize that Elva, Joey, and Jolin are all idol-type singers, but as I do not follow the entertainment industry closely any more (for which I rely on Mavis -- Thanks, buddy), I'm not susceptible to any of the hype that may have been created overseas. I simply like their songs

What does the number 543 signify, if you don't mind me asking?

i like the idol singers too, even twins. their songs are very peppy.
um, i'm not sure about those two translations. i'll ask my friend about it and also see if he has time to translate the others.

the 543 is kinda insignificant. i used to use this sn for AIM but i needed some numbers to make it unique. =P

Haha... gotcha Many people use numbers to signify their birthdate. Of course, I didn't think you were born in 1943

Mike, will try to do some translation this weekend. Been really busy lately, don't even want to turn on the computer when I get home.

I hate Joey (as you can see from my reviews) but she sings well. Anyone in Taiwan has to sing well to become a singer so it's not so much as idol. The 3 girls from S.H.E. were 3 finalists in a talent contest...with over 1000 contestants.

I think it should be "Believe in my gut feeling"

"Gut feeling" sounds a little wierd, but it could be referring to things like your sixth sense about love, etc

Translation from a certain online translator: "Believes the intuition"

Sorry, give me a little time. Much harder than I thought (either that or my translation skills are getting worse).

Still working at the same place, but I work on policy development now, a lot more challenging.

I used to have your Linda Wong translations, but threw away that huge binder of lyrics many years ago (now that lyrics can easily be found online as compared to back then...)
