Happy Turkey Day

Post by Mavis »

....to everyone!

Sorry but work has been busy so I haven't been able to post any new reviews. My computer is also down (actually it's the monitor, something's wrong with the LCD's board and the on/off and other adjust buttons won't work) so I haven't had much of a chance to come in.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

...so what do you have to be thankful this year?

I'm thankful for all off my supporting friends who have helped me get thru a lot of tough times this year. Also, for all the great times we've share. I wouldn't have gone to so many places or events without them, such as Big Bear, Yosemite, and Mammoth. :)

Mavis, same to you :) Hit the LCD a couple times and see if that helps haha... Well, I hope it'll work again soon.

MB: don't make me jealous here! I wanted to go to Yosemite after my college graduation, but then we found out that you have to reserve 1 year in advance. Yuck!

nganh: start early, save yourself the headaches later when you do last-minute :)

you know what's funny in a way...

i reserved 2 months at some place alittle outside of yosemite and it turned out to be a horrible site. so the next day we packed up and went to Bridalveil Falls (within yosemite). this place had recently opened up in yosemite and we were lucky to find a beautiful site for only $20 for 2 nights. it was roughing it alittle bit. no showers and only portable potties. oh and a little lake near our camp site. it was freezing one evening and all of my guy friends decided to take a dip in that lake...sigh* good times...

You don't have to spend money to give gifts...

The guys went hopping into the lake? For a minute, I thought you were going to say that the guys cuddled up with the girls...
